Capital One is seeking work-at-home customer service agents in the Richmond, VA area. Training will take place for 4 to 6 weeks onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You must have a high school diploma or its equivalent and two years of previous customer care experience.
Additionally, you must have high-speed broadband Internet service, a quiet home office, a computer, and dedicated home telephone line. The company will provide temporary equipment when you start, but will expect you to provide your own computer and dedicated telephone line as time progresses.
Other necessary skills required are knowledge of the financial and credit industry, the ability to troubleshoot basic computer issues, excellent grammar, written, and verbal skills, and strong time allocation and multitasking skills.
You must also possess exceptional listening skills and be detail-oriented. This is a part-time position. You may occasionally be requested onsite after training.
