AER LINGUS Hiring Work at Home Reservations Agents

AER LINGUS is hiring work at home reservations sales agents in New York. You must live within 30 miles of the company’s Jericho headquarters, as you must train onsite for 8 to 10 weeks prior to beginning work from home.  Also, in the event of a power failure, you would be required to come in and work your shift onsite.

Training is paid.  New training classes are schedule to start in early February.  You must be legally able to work in the United States, and you must be 18 years of age or older.

Additional requirements (from work-at-home job listing):

  • Strong sales/service orientation
  • Stable work background
  • Good keyboard and Internet skills
  • Aptitude with figures
  • Clear speaking voice
  • Must be able to pass all background and screening checks

When allowed to work from a home office, employees will be provided phone and computer equipment (to be used solely for work). You must  have a quiet and permanent work space free of distractions and noise, as well as high-speed Internet.

Hours are 20 per week, spread out over four-day, five-hour slots.  You must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays, and you must be able to work a minimum of two days during the week.  You will have at least two consecutive days off per week.

Starting compensation is $12.18 an hour plus $0.70 per hour towards a pension.  Travel benefits are available after six months of employment.  Paid time off is available after one year of service.  After one year, up to $200.00 will be reimbursed to the employee for furniture (desk/chair).
