VIPDesk is hiring part-time and full-time work-at-home travel agent/rewards redemption specialists from across the U.S. A new training class begins in May. Some weekend and holiday work is required. Fluency in both verbal and written English is required.
Requirements (from job listing):
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- 2+ years related customer service experience required
- Hospitality and Service orientation a must; direct experience is highly desirable
- 2+ years experience with a GDS system required; WorldSpan preferred
- Strong computer, Internet skills. Able to learn quickly in a technical environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; able to type at least 35 WPM
- Outstanding customer satisfaction and follow through skills
- Polite, friendly, and knowledgeable phone demeanor
- Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined
- Able to learn and work independently, as well as in a team
- Detail oriented multitasker, with sense of urgency and commitment to excellence
- Able to thrive in a performance-based environment
- Able to successfully pass all background checks
- Able to provide a quiet work at home environment that is ergonomically sound
- Able to supply computer and phone service that meets minimum requirements
