Altegra Health is seeking a work at home compliance specialist. This full-time position is available nationwide and is entirely home-based. You must have a bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline or have equivalent work experience.

Further Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):

  • One to two years of corporate recruiting experience preferred;
  • Knowledge of current trends in compliance & recruiting in health care;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the importance of strong written documentation and maintenance of records and files;
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions;
  • Ability to determine on how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes;
  • Ability to be hands on and have sense of urgency; able to prioritize activities and negotiate due dates
  • Ability to manage conflicts in an open and constructive manner;
  • Ability to organize tasks/work environment in a fast paced environment;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks on a daily basis, remaining calm under pressure;
  • Ability to be flexible in the face of changing priorities; able to work effectively across departmental lines
  • Ability to communicate effectively via email, webinar, written and spoken;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to grasp the key points from complicated details;
  • Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making;
  • Promotes a team-oriented environment and has ability to multi-task with competing priorities;
  • Exemplary attention to detail and completeness;
  • Unquestionable business and personal integrity, discretion and judgment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, Access & Power Point.

A general knowledge of the healthcare compliance environment and privacy regulations is preferred, but not required.
