Work at Home: UnitedHealth Medical Policy Communications Specialists

UnitedHealth Group is seeking work at home medical policy communications specialists in the following U.S. States: Connecticut, Florida, Minnesota, Texas, and Arizona.  These are full-time positions.

In this work at home position, you will be “responsible for communicating any medical policy updates on a monthly basis,” according to the job listing, as well as interpreting changes made to policies and documenting those changes in a manner which makes them easily understood.

Requirements (from employment listing):

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3+ years experience writing  business-required documentation; preferably medical policies
  • Intermediate (or higher) level of skill with Microsoft Word, including formatting text within paragraphs and lists, creating tables, templates, themes, and documents using pictures, shapes, and art
  • Excellent business writing skills and/or the ability to write clearly for a diverse audience

The right candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication abilities and be able to work with little supervision.  Additionally, he or she will be a multitasker.
