Change Healthcare is hiring work at home patient service reps in most U.S. states. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8 hours daily. Start time is  930 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Central Time.

All work at home patient service reps must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.

“This position is responsible for answering patient calls and researching and resolving issues in order to receive maximum profitability for clients. Reviews claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met, follows-up on billing, determines and applies appropriate adjustments, answers inquiries, and updates accounts as necessary.”

Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):

Minimum Requirements

  • 1+ years of work experience; Healthcare and/or Insurance billing or processing and customer service preferred; 7,000 alpha numeric skills.

Critical Skills

  • Call Center experience
  • Managed care experience working with a health plan or TPA (i.e. Claims, Customer Service/Member Services etc.) preferred.
  • MS Office Skills
  • Ability to navigate various computer systems
  • Bilingual/Spanish a plus

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Overall good knowledge of PAR responsibilities. Good understanding of the billing process and little supervision needed.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
