Work at Home Editing Professional Biographies for PR Firm

freelance-editing-job-imageA PR firm is seeking work-at-home editors for a long-term project. You will work directly with the firm’s team to polish professional biographies for executives and high-profile clients.

You must be detail-oriented and able to catch minute grammatical errors.  You must also possess excellent editorial skills. You will screen content for organization, word choice, tone, quality of content, length, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.

You must have prior relevant experience and be proficient in utilizing both The Chicago Manual of Style and MS Word. A degree in English is preferred, but not required. You will receive $5.00 (net after oDesk fee) per piece edited. Each piece is 250-350 words.  Most contractors generally average about three pieces per hour.  You will be paid via the ODesk platform.
