Remote Legal Transcription Jobs with Dictate Express

Dictate Express is hiring transcriptionists in the U.S. for full and part-time remote legal transcription jobs! They are also hiring editors. Night coverage is available for those seeking overnight work!

The company provides its remote employees voice recognition and FTP software (for download of audio).

“We work exclusively with typists and transcriptionists who live within United States borders. This insures we meet our clients’ privacy requirements. Our professional transcriptionists maintain top quality standards and have a great work ethic. Dictate Express is currently seeking highly skilled legal editors to work on large legal accounts, using straight transcription and voice recognition. These positions are for production-minded, quality-focused transcriptionists.”

Requirements (from the work-at-home job listing):

  • Able to meet deadlines for a fast-paced, brief TAT account, sign in on time, and work quickly and efficiently
  • Hours available: 3 PM Central – 12 AM Central on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Hours available: 12 AM Central – 6 AM Central every day of the week
  • Additional work: additional shifts over time, temporary shifts, PRN as volume demands
  • Ability to proofread and spell/grammar check.
  • Windows 10
  • At least 4GB of RAM
  • High-speed internet
  • Must have Word and be familiar with all its functions.
  • Foot pedal
  • Headphones
  • Ability to troubleshoot programs and Windows
  • FTP experience a plus.
  • Voice rec experience a plus.

Pay for these remote legal transcription jobs is 65 cents per character line, including spaces. Payment will be made by direct deposit.

Remote transcriptionists are encouraged to take on a combination of transcription and editing work to maximize productivity and time.

These home-based positions are contract. The company asks all applicants to have at least one year of transcription experience (from Indeed listing). The website states two years, but they might be overloaded with work and be lowering the requirement to one year.
