ACT.org is hiring work-at-home essay scorers to read and score student essays for the ACT. All scoring will be done via the Web using the company’s proprietary system. This means you can work a flexible schedule from your own home office via the Internet.
Tests are scored at intervals throughout the year. Compensation is performance based, but scorers can realize $12/hour or more based on performance quality and rate of scoring.
Required Qualifications (from job listing):
- A bachelor’s degree or higher
- Current teaching experience (preferred)
- Experience teaching high school English to juniors and seniors (preferred)
- U.S. citizenship, resident alien status, or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Reside in the U.S.
