Uber Hiring Work at Home Email Customer Support

Uber is seeking work at home email community support in the United States. These are temporary positions with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will be providing excellent customer service through email, building loyalty, as well as triaging and escalating issues as needed.

Required (from work-at-home job listing):

  • Solid writing skills
  • Passion for helping others and creating customer support experiences that wow users
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems to find speedy resolutions
  • Skilled at handling multiple issues at once to efficiently solve a large number of inquiries
  • Experience working independently in a minimally structured environment

Desired, But Not Required (from job listing):

  • College degree
  • Customer support experience in a high-volume environment and familiarity with Zendesk
  • Experience working remotely on a virtual team
  • You’re an Uber evangelist–you care about the product and getting others excited to ride

You must have high-speed Internet.

Hours are 40 per week on a fixed schedule. Some weekend and weekday evening shifts will be required.
