Work at Home Help Desk Jobs via Manpower

Manpower has an urgent need for work-at-home help desk technicians in the Atlanta area (perhaps other locations also). You will be providing remote tech customer support to the client company’s customers, evaluating and handling customer issues via phone and chat, utilizing diagnostic tools, and advising customers of options and best practices.

Additionally, you will be offering add-on sales products and services.  You must have your high school diploma or its equivalent and at least two years of desktop or call center support experience with all of the standard Windows-based systems.

Requirements (from employment listing):

  • Extensive knowledge of personal computer hardware, Windows OS, application support, peripherals, and networking
  • Must be well versed in resolving all common computer problems including viruses, spy-ware, slow performance, errors, email client set-up, software installation and configuration, wireless networks, and peripheral problems
  • Ability to communicate technical issues in a manner non-technical individuals can understand
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service through verbal and written medium
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Take ownership for problems and follow through to resolution
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • One or more of the following certification(s): MSDT, MCSE, A+, MCP, Net+
