Clarity Health is recruiting work-at-home referral order specialists (insurance authorization), to join its Seattle office. You will have the opportunity to work from home. This is a full-time, 40 hour-per-week position.
You will be processing physician referral orders, communicating with insurance providers to check patient eligibility and obtain authorizations, updating and managing directory information, managing and indexing documentation, and other duties as needed.
Requirements (from job listing):
- Experience with obtaining referral order authorizations from insurance providers (Surgical order experience a plus)
- Knowledge of industry terminology and anatomy; detail-oriented
- Touch typing, proficiency with software applications and online tools, and ability to learn new software tools quickly
- Good organizational and time management skills; able to multitask
- Eagerness to learn, work hard, have fun, and excel;patient under pressure
- Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year work experience in a clinical setting where referral authorizations are performed
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience, or actively pursuing bachelor’s degree
