Demand Media Studios is seeking work-at-home tax content auditors to read published articles and update outdated information caused by tax law changes since publication. These are temporary contract positions. All work will be done via the DMS platform. The project is scheduled to run from mid-October to early December.
Compensation per audited article is $7.50. Time expectation is approximately 20 minutes per article. If an article is not fixable within a 20-minute time frame, you will receive a $2 fee to mark the article for take-down.
Some writing and editing skill is required. Experience with tax law, however, is more important in this position. The ideal candidate will have worked as a CPA, financial planner, or in some other position where you’re required to stay up-to-date on tax law.
