Journatic is seeking a work-at-home copy editor to work mostly morning and mid-day hours. This is an independent contractor position. Pay is $15 per hour. You will be editing stories, formatting data, and working with the site’s editors.
You will be editing for spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as style. Previous newspaper experience is a must. Daily newspaper experience is preferred.
Further Requirements (from job listing):
- Familiarity with Skype
- Familiarity with tabbed browsing in Firefox
- Familiarity with GoogleDocs
- Type 60+ words per minute
- Daily access to a home computer less than 3 years old
- Reliable Internet connection
