The Pragmatic Bookshelf is seeking work-at-home acquisitions editors to identify trending topics and recruit authors. The company publishes the highest-quality books for programmers, managers, and technologists on up-and-coming technologies, open source, and agile methods.
You must have direct industry experience acquiring technical books, a wide array of current technical contacts, and you must have an understanding of what’s required to seek out new topics and find new authors. Finally, you must share the company’s values of respect and mutual collaboration.
