TaskRabbit, a concierge service, is seeking work-at-home “taskrabbits” to accept and perform tasks for busy people in the following areas: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Orange County, New York City, Portland, and Seattle (soon expanding to more locations).
You will be doing such things as retrieving dry cleaning, picking up prescriptions, maybe even baking cupcakes for a child’s birthday party. Taskrabbits and taskposters use their real identities online. You will be reviewed and rated on your service. You simply sign in, see what tasks are available, accept an assignment, perform it, and get paid.
If you fill out an application and TaskRabbit is not yet in your area, the company will archive your application and hold it for future reference. A video interview and background check is required. An online training program is provided. You must have access to a microphone and webcam for the application process.
