Language Line is seeking work-at-home bilingual (English/Spanish) interpreters in the New York area. You must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
You must also have a quiet home office environment, free of distractions, and you must have a dedicated land line and headset telephone. Access to the Internet for communication with your employer is required.
The right candidate will be patient, punctual, and able to remain calm during stressful situations. He or she will also have excellent verbal communication abilities, with clear enunciation and a professional phone demeanor.
