HCCS is hiring home-based medical coding professionals in the U.S. They are hiring for the following work at home coding positions:
- Professional Fee Coder
- Inpatient Coder (Part-Time)

Professional Fee Coder:

Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC

Minimum of 3 years of Professional Fee coding experience – Inpatient, Same Day Care, Observation and Clinic

Clinic coding experience should include proficiencies in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Mental Health, and OB/GYN
-
Proficiency in 1995 and 1997 E/M guidelines is required
-
Proficiency in Athena and EPIC is preferred
-
Must be able to train during normal business hours Monday – Friday

Ability to work from home in a quiet space

Access to high speed internet
Inpatient Coder:

Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC

Minimum of 3 years Inpatient coding experience – Trauma level II or above

Must be fluent in 3M, Citrix, and Meditech

Must be able to train during normal business until released from training (1-2 weeks)

Must be able to work up to 20 hours per week with 8 hours over the weekend

Ability to work from home in a quiet space

Access to high speed internet and computer equipment
