Aviacode is hiring work at home pro fee ortho surgery & E/M QA specialist medical coders in the U.S. Nationally recognized as one of the top medical coding companies in the nation, Aviacode is seeking home-based medical coders to provide coding services for its medical practice clients.
Specifically, the company has an immediate need for Pro Fee orthopedic coders with expertise in podiatry and orthopedics.
From the company:
“This position will provide accurate coding services (diagnoses, conditions and procedures,) for orthopedic services. Will be required to use codes and modifiers with ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS Level II codes as well as modifiers. Coding will be in the following settings:
In and out patient rounding
In and out patient surgery
Office visits with ancillary services
The Quality Review analyst will review a domestic coders coding for accuracy, provide feedback and will assist in any education sessions as necessary. QA Analyst will be well versed in out patient E/M changes. Surgical coding is from a Pro Fee perspective.”
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):

Must be AAPC CPC, or AHIMA RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P certified

Minimum of three years’ experience with pro-fee ortho surgery and E/M coding

Ability to code accurately and maintain a quality score of 95% or greater

Position will be required to pass pro-fee coding test

Comfort working with technology to accomplish position responsibilities (MS Office, Skype, Internet)

Must provide own laptop or desk top with Windows 10 PRO and have access to a high-speed Internet connection

Position is part-time/per diem and offers flexible hours working from home
