Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking work at home inpatient medical coders in Florida (possibly elsewhere). The hospital offers a $3,000.00 sign-on bonus, as well as a retention bonus and generous benefits.
These are full-time, day shift positions.
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):
- 2 years of inpatient coding ICD9-CM and CPT-4 is required
- RHIA Or RHIT Or CCS or eligible to test for one of these and become certified w/n 12 months of employment
- Associates degree in Health Information Management or completion of Coding Specialist Program
All medical coders must maintain 95% accuracy.
