Kindred Healthcare is seeking work-at-home inpatient medical coders. This is a virtual position that can be performed from anywhere in the continental U.S. A sign-on bonus is available.
You must be a high school graduate. College experience is preferred. You must also have three or more years of short-term acute care hospital inpatient coding experience.
Required: AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and/or Associate of Science degree with RHIT; BS with RHIA or eligibility to sit for the CCS exam. You must be able to pass an entry-level screening test.
