Medasource is seeking a work at home medical coding professional. These are six month contract-to-hire home-based positions.
Compensation for these work at home inpatient medical coding jobs is $25 to $28 per hour.

“The Inpatient Coder will review clinical documentation to assign and sequence diagnostic and procedural codes for specific patient types to meet the needs to hospital data retrieval for billing and reimbursement, and accurately capture the procedures documented in a clinical record. They will perform documentation to review and asses for accurate abstracting of clinical data to meet regulatory an compliance requirements.”
Requirements (from work at home medical coding job listing):

4+ years of inpatient coding experience within a hospital setting

Preferred, but not required: Pediatric experience

Has an active CCS
-
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS code sets, and Medical Terminology

Experience with EMR systems

Preferred: AllScripts

Ability to consistently code for both accuracy and quality while maintaining production and quality standards.

Proficient computer knowledge including MS Office
