Required Certifications
Candidates must have at least one of the following professional certifications:
· CCS (Certified Coding Specialist)
· RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician)
· RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator)
Minimum Requirements
· Minimum of three years of Facility Outpatient Coding experience.
· Proficiency with various EMR/EHR/Encoder technologies (3M, Epic, etc.)
· Proficiency in MS Office (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel).
· Familiar of and compliant with HIPAA regulations; maintaining strict confidentiality of patient and client information.
· Attention to detail and ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner.
· Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
· Ability to understand medical/surgical terminology.
