Medasource is seeking two remote professional fee coding auditors in the U.S. Compensation for these work at home positions is $35 per hour.
These home-based roles are contract and full time.

As a medical coding subject matter expert with an inpatient acute auditing background, the Quality Assurance Specialist will be a key contributor to the ongoing review of coded data for client accounts and educational feedback to our coding colleagues.”
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):

3+ years experience in Professional Fee auditing with a larger hospital systems

5+ years of Professional Fee Coding Experience

AHIMA and/or AAPC Credentialed
-
Meditech, Epic and/or Cerner experience is preferred

ICD-10: 1 year (Preferred)
Duties (from listing):

Reviews colleague coded data to ensure great quality standards and provide educational feedback to the colleague.

Provides completed audit with feedback to the colleague and their supervisor.

As needed, holds conference calls with colleague and supervisor to discuss questions.

Investigates client coding Quality Assurance questions regarding colleague coded charts.

Monitor and interpret colleague error trends to provide expert feedback during educational sessions.

Shifts are 8 hours, Monday to Friday.
