Golden Voice English is currently hiring home-based online English language tutors to work with Chinese children grades 1 to 9 over the Internet. This is a part-time independent contractor position.
Compensation begins at $18.00 per hour and can be more based upon experience.
Requirements (from work-at-home employment listing):
- Native level English fluency required.
- Committed availability, between the hours of 6:00am-10:00am Eastern Standard time.
- Qualified home office/location with an internet-connected computer with web-cam and microphone capability.
- Minimum three-months or equivalent combination of teaching experience which may include part-time volunteer, community and coaching activities.
- Must be punctual at all times and follow the agreed-upon lesson schedule.
- Patient, hardworking & passionate about language education.
- Strong communication skills interacting with English as a Second Language (ESL) students.
You will be provided the necessary teaching resources and materials.
This home-based position starts in early September. Hours are between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
A degree in education or previous ESL teaching experience is a big plus!
