You can work from anywhere with a reliable Internet connection.  However, you must reside in the U.S. or Canada and have a valid Social Security or Social Insurance number, and you must be willing to tutor a minimum of five hours per week.

You must have strong knowledge in the area for which you wish to tutor.  An ability to explain concepts to young people of a variety of ages is crucial.

Additionally, you must be a College sophomore or higher or have graduated from an accredited U.S. or Canadian university by the fall of 2013. Finally, you must be able to pass more than one subject exam during the application process.

Tutors are paid once per month.  Compensation is based on the subjects tutored and number of hours.  According to the company, chemistry tutors, for example,  earn anywhere from $800.00 to $1600.00 a month. The company also offer bonuses and performance incentives.

The service runs around the clock, 24/7, giving tutors the flexibility to telecommute on their own schedule.  the company’s clients are both public and institutional, so the clients are brought directly to you.
