Revolution Prep is hiring work at home online tutors to work with students in grades 6 to 12. Full-time hours are available.
As a remote faculty member, you will report to an instruction manager and work as part of a team.

“Over the last 12 years, Revolution Prep has worked with over 1 million students to raise grades and test scores and build stronger, more confident learners. As a faculty member, you will provide individual instruction to students in grades 6-12 from all over the world through our online classroom.
“Faculty members work from home during set office hours that range from 35 to 40 hours of availability per week, depending on the season, with a goal of averaging at least 30 hours of instruction per week annually.”
Qualifications (from work-at-home job listing):
- Previous teaching experience and familiarity with the creation of lesson plans
- Applicants with expertise in college level micro/macroeconomics, LSAT, higher level math (alg II, trig, pre-calculus, calculus AB/BC, stats), science (physics, chemistry, and biology up to AP level), and languages (Spanish and/or French) strongly preferred – Note that all tutors are asked to be able to teach SAT/ACT test preparation as a foundation (training provided) and can thereafter declare additional subjects in which they specialize
- Ability to teach consecutive online tutoring sessions
- Ability to work during peak tutoring hours during the week
- Ability to work on the weekends
- High-speed internet and webcam, as well as a clean, quiet, professional setting for online sessions
- Ability to teach foreign languages is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree from a top school required, higher education preferred
- Ability to commit to at least one year of full-time employment
- Residing in the US

Hourly rates for work at home tutors start at $20 to $30 per hour (based upon experience), with the opportunity for performance bonuses.
Earning rates (from the company):
-Top Performer (Premium Tier) = $70,000+
-Average Performer (Premium Tier) = $55,000+
-Average Performer (Advanced Tier) = $38,000+
~28 hours per week, $20-35 per hour, additional pay for prep time, opportunity for bonuses and benefits, work from home (no travel required)
