SMARTHINKING is seeking work-at-home online Spanish tutors. The company, a Washington, D.C.-based educational organization, provides live instruction and learning services via the Internet to high schools and colleges.
You may teach via the Web from anywhere. You must have at least an undergraduate degree and a teaching certificate and/or advanced degree in Spanish. Expected hours are between 9 and 19 per week.
You must be fluent, both written and verbally in Spanish and English, and have high school or college tutoring experience in introductory, intermediate, and conversational Spanish.
You must also have excellent interpersonal skills and be capable of troubleshooting calmly in high stress situations.
Finally, you must be an excellent typist.
