Connections Academy is seeking work-at-home virtual tutors to assist K-12 students across the U.S. with upper-level math. Hours will be scheduled in the evening, sometime between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. EST.
This position starts the first week of September. You may work up to four days a week for four hours per day. You must have a BA in mathematics or relevant field, or current teaching certification in secondary mathematics.
Experience with online instruction is a plus, as is prior experience as a tutor. Additionally, you must have strong verbal and written communication skills and competency with technology. Finally, you must have a computer, headphones, high-speed Internet, and a microphone.
