Work at Home: Tutoring Jobs with HomeworkHelp

HomeworkHelp.com is seeking work-at-home tutors to assist K-12 students with homework.  You will be delivering your services over the Web to remote students utilizing voice and text chat, file sharing, an interactive whiteboard, and more.

You will be paid via PayPal.  You set your own fees.  Most tutors charge between $12 and $36 per hour. Sessions generally last one hour.

Equipment Needed (from job listing):

  • Pentium 4, Dual Core, Core 2 Duo 1.6 Ghz or faster
  • 512 MB of RAM (1024 MB or more is recommended)
  • Windows XP/Vista or newer
  • Sun Java 2 Run-time Environment
  • Color monitor with Screen Resolution of 1024×768 or higher
  • A Microphone and Speakers. A headset is highly recommended for better audio quality.
  • Reliable broadband Internet connection (xDSL or cable modem – broadband only!)
  • You must feel comfortable using a computer and Internet as teaching tools.
