Metaverse Mod Squad is seeking work at home online K-12 tutors in the U.S. Specifically, the company needs at least two tutors to cover the hours of Sunday to Thursday, 4 am-9 am PST (7 am-12 noon EST) and another tutor to cover Saturday and Sunday, 12 noon-2 pm PST (3 pm – 5 pm EST).
Initially, the academic area of focus will be Mathematics for students located in Asia.
Ideal Qualifications (from work-at-home job listing):
- Has a college degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in math, computer science, physics, or comparable fields
- Is comfortable teaching via Skype or virtual classroom app (built into our client’s proprietary tool)
- Has a passion for working with kids, helping them grow and is interested in helping them fulfill their potential (especially gifted and talented children)
- Is comfortable interacting with both Students and Parents
- Focuses on the details and is extremely organized
- Is comfortable working with technology
- Is interested in the well-being of the student
- Has previous teaching (or tutoring) experience
- Is comfortable tutoring in the subject area of Mathematics
- Has excellent written and oral communication skills
- Wants to work a lot or even just a little : )
- Is available during stated office hours (option for flexible scheduling during stated office hours)
Compensation is $12 to $15 per hour, dependent upon experience.
