Follett is seeking a work-at-home Dewey Decimal classification consultant in Illinois (may be available nationwide). You will be provided the subjects needing DD alignment and temporary access to the WebDewey system. You then will research the content for subjects and identify/assign DD numbers to standards through a Web application.
Requirements (from job listing):
- Master’s degree in Library Science with emphasis or experience in cataloging
- Must possess cataloging and librarian experience
- Can provide examples of experience using DD classification
- Computer and Internet proficient
- Can provide examples of problem solving skills
- Must have time to perform the work assigned, being flexible, yet completing assigned work in a timely manner
- Must have computer with high-speed Internet connection
