American Express Travel is seeking work-at-home travel counselors in the New York, NY and Philadelphia, PA areas. You must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, and you must be available to work between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. EST, Monday to Sunday, seven days per week.
Further Requirements (from employment listing):
-Minimum of 3 years recent experience selling domestic and international travel services
-Strong international air booking experience is required; car and hotel highly preferred
-Computer reservations experience required, Sabre is preferred
-Extensive domestic and international destination knowledge, including knowledge of emerging destinations
-Exceptional communication skills; passion for serving customers proactively
-Effective strong consultative selling skills; excellent listening skills
-Cool under pressure; multitasker; developing rapport with customers is essential
-Must be resourceful and capable of using the Internet effectively, to research destinations
-Have a can do attitude, curiosity, and healthy competitiveness; adaptable and resilient
