Vail Resorts is seeking work at home vacation planners in the following U.S. states: Colorado, Utah, Minnesota, Michigan, and California. These are full-time 10-month or 12-month a year positions.
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):
- Must live in Colorado, Utah, California, Minnesota or Michigan, preferably within 2 hours of a Vail Resorts’ resort or office.
- Must have wired high speed Internet access and land line phone line at home. No wireless internet or phone service.
- The ideal candidate displays a passion for Guest Service and enjoy helping customers over the phone!
- Customer focused, able to guide our guests through their travel planning.
- A positive and professional attitude is essential! An enthusiastic attitude of the travel industry is a plus
- A passion for skiing or familiarity with our mountain resorts is preferred
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and accurate.
- Have the ability to work on the computer while talking with customers, multitasker.
- Have the ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Language premium paid for second languages; Spanish and Portuguese (oral and written fluency required for premium).
- At home work area must be ergonomic and noise/distraction free.
- LMS Software experience a plus but not required
- HS Diploma or equivalent
In this position, you will be providing information to guests via phone on lodging packages, transportation to and from the airport, deals, discounted lift tickets, ski and snowboard lessons, equipment rentals, and activities and services like spas, dining, and guided tours.
