Work at Home: Delta Air Lines Hiring Customer Service

Delta Air Lines is hiring customer service experience specialists for a potential work-at-home reservations opportunity. The company states that after six months of onsite training, home-based positions may be available in Minnesota, Texas, and Utah (possibly other U.S. states).

These positions are full-time and offer great travel benefits.  Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. You must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and you must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Further Requirements (from job listing):

  • Computer skills and comfort with navigating multiple applications
  • Demonstrate clear, pleasant, and courteous verbal and written communication with appropriate usage of grammar, tone, and pronunciation.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability.
  • Self motivated, goal oriented
  • Previous experience with sales and/or experience providing excellent customer service.

Prior to hire, you must be able to pass all pre-employment background checks and screenings.  You must also be able to attend five weeks of classroom training, followed by ten weeks of on-the-job training, and pass all exams satisfactorily. After completion of training, you will be assigned a shift and days off.

Starting pay for these positions is $1850.00 per month or $10.67 per hour. An additional $155.00 per month will be paid to employees who are multilingual.  At 6, 12, and 18 months, providing you meet all expectations, you will be given a raise.  After that, you will be given a raise annually for meeting expected performance.
