The University of Utah College of Fine Arts is seeking a senior accountant on a partial telecommute basis. You will be working in the dean’s office. According to the employment listing, you will be: “developing budget proposals, balance sheets, summaries of revenue and expense, pro forma reports, and budget vs. actual reports.”
You will also be reviewing and analyzing general ledger account balances and financial management systems, as well as providing oversight to lower-level accounting personnel.
Requirements (from job listing):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus two years professional accounting experience
- Thorough knowledge of established accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of accounting software, advanced spreadsheet skills
- The ability to write queries and macros
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, human relations and communication skills
- CPA certification and one year of experience, with University of Utah business processes preferred
