Work at Home: Digital Marketing Editor with SmartBrief

baby-bird-flapping-wings-imageThis role can be work-at-home for the right candidate. SmartBrief is seeking a full-time editor to create e-mail newsletters on the subject of digital marketing, including display, mobile, social, and interactive. You will also be maintaining and promoting a blog. You must be available to start as early as 6:00 a.m. EST, Monday through Friday.

The perfect candidate will have a news and digital marketing background, has experience writing about digital marketing news and trends, and is deadline-oriented.  You must also be social media savvy and comfortable using social tools, such as Twitter, to promote your content.

Specific Requirements (from employment listing):

  • Publishing experience, covering digital marketing news for at least 5 years
  • Proven editing skills
  • Ability to edit quickly and accurately on deadline, starting at 6:00 a.m. EST, Monday through Friday
  • Experience managing a blog or online publication, including soliciting and editing guest contributors
  • Expertise with social networks, especially Twitter
  • Sophisticated understanding of how to find news and information on the Web
  • Knowledge of Associated Press style
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
