IBT Media is seeking a work at home weekend social media editor. This is a 100% remote position with flexible hours. Though the position will start with weekends, it may grow in the future.

“The Weekend social media editor will post and curate new stories throughout the day, repackage and resurface that week’s stories, post long-form enterprise (evergreen) pieces and share new content and breaking developments across multiple social media platforms.”
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing)
- Two to four years running high profile social media accounts
- Journalism experience and background in a newsroom setting
- Strong editorial judgement
- Impeccable spelling, grammar, and writing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deadline
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms, industry news, metrics reporting, best practices, and engagement strategies
- Drive to work remotely and independently, yet continually be in touch with a large, remote team that functions around the clock
- Experience in marketing is a plus. Previous work with paid social media campaigns is a plus
Compensation is hourly.
