Work from Home: Ancestry.com Search Marketing Coordinator

Ancestry.com, the world’s largest online resource for family history, is seeking a search marketing coordinator for digital media in the San Francisco, CA area.  This position appears to offer the opportunity to work from home (at least on a partial basis).

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • creating and maintaining performance reports across Ancestry.com’s global brands
  • actively monitoring competitors
  • performing keyword research and analysis
  • writing ad copy
  • performing split tests to analyze performance
  • creating and monitoring channel-related POs and invoices from the company’s partners

Requirements (from employment listing):

  • BA/BS in a quantitative field
  • Strong, analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Be self-motivated, able to execute on new ideas and see projects through start to finish
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Hard-working and eager to learn the ins and outs of online direct marketing
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics a plus
  • Experience with online marketing a plus
