Ancestry.com, the world’s largest online resource for family history, is seeking a search marketing coordinator for digital media in the San Francisco, CA area. This position appears to offer the opportunity to work from home (at least on a partial basis).
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- creating and maintaining performance reports across Ancestry.com’s global brands
- actively monitoring competitors
- performing keyword research and analysis
- writing ad copy
- performing split tests to analyze performance
- creating and monitoring channel-related POs and invoices from the company’s partners
Requirements (from employment listing):
- BA/BS in a quantitative field
- Strong, analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Be self-motivated, able to execute on new ideas and see projects through start to finish
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Hard-working and eager to learn the ins and outs of online direct marketing
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics a plus
- Experience with online marketing a plus
