The Baby Sleep Site is seeking a work at home advertising sales rep to sell space on its website and marketing newsletter. You must be a motivated, energetic, persuasive person, capable of working independently.
You must also have your own home office, computer, scanner, phone line, and fax.
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):
- This position requires intermediate ability and experience navigating the Internet, within web-based programs, Microsoft Office (such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and web-based e-mail. You will sometimes be expected to utilize Google-based programs in the completion of your assigned duties.
- This position requires you to be able to make and receive phone calls to verbally communicate with our customers and to type on a keyboard to communicate with our customers in written form. This position requires you to be able to correctly use proper grammar and punctuation and have a very high attention to detail.
- The preferred candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a successful record of business-to-business sales in marketing or advertising using a consultative approach.
EDUCATION
- Associates/Bachelor’s in related field, such as Sales and Marketing
EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year in sales support and at least 2 years in direct ad sales; must be confident and persuasive during sales calls
