Blue Buffalo is hiring home-based in-store demonstrators across the U.S. If you love pets and enjoy talking with other pet lovers, this might be the perfect part-time position for you. You will be the face of the brand to customers in your area of the country.
You must be sociable, persuasive, engaging, and able to exhibit a caring demeanor while listening and connecting with potential customers. Additionally, you must be open to regular coaching. A sales background is helpful, but not a requirement. Most important: you must be passionate about pet health.
Requirements (from employment listing):
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Must be able to stand/walk a minimum of 4 hours.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to surrounding locations within 25 mile radius.
- Must have an active e-mail account and daily computer access.
This is a steady, long-term, every weekend position (including holidays). Hours are typically 4 to 12 per week, depending on store traffic and availability in your area. Each shift is four hours.
Compensation is competitive. Initial pay is $10 to $12 per hour, with an opportunity for an increase within the first three to six months. This is a permanent position, so you will be guaranteed work every week.
