- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Preferred focus in Arts or Science with an emphasis in business, marketing, computer science or information technology.
- Minimum of 4 years enterprise-level SEO experience
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and experience using industry tools such as:
- Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Coremetrics, BrightEdge
- Google and Bing Webmaster Tools
- Majestic SEO, OpenSiteExplorer, Screaming Frog
- Keyword Research Tools, e.g.: Google Adwords
- Knowledge of HTML coding, Javascript, CSS and CMS’s
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to visualize data and concepts effectively
- Ability to work effectively across a highly matrixed organization
- Strategic and creative thinking – always focusing on innovative, but measurable solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills – spoken, written, and visual – for internal creative and technical teams as well as executives
