Miami Dade College is hiring a part-time work-at-home office automation virtual assistant. You will be responsible for ensuring that technical and administrative functions related to the School of Education programs are operationally sound and managed effectively, as well as ensuring compliance with program guidelines.
Requirements (from employment listing):
- Associate’s Degree and two years of technical/computer experience (regionally accredited institution)
- Technical courses in computers, operations management, or related field
- All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Ability to utilize Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher Basics, Odyssey, LiveText, Adobe Photo Shop, and other applications for database management
- Willingness to learn new software; able to multitask, set priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Possess strong organizational skills and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Able to communicate with professional demeanor and positive attitude, while utilizing effective interpersonal relations with students, faculty and administration
- Able to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate initiative
- Able to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment
- Able to work a flexible schedule (may include evening and weekend hours)
