Wolfram Hiring Work at Home Web Developers

Wolfram Research is seeking work-at-home web developers to add to its team.  You must have at least two years of web development experience in a corporate or academic environment.  However, the company does have opportunities for those with less experience.  A  bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering is preferred, but experience and skill are more important than credentials.

Required skills

  • Programming in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, PHP, or C#
  • JavaScript
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Web standards

Preferred skills

  • jQuery
  • AJAX
  • Perl
  • Mathematica
  • SQL such as MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres
  • NoSQL  such as CouchDB, MongoDB
  • J2EE
  • Apache/Tomcat/Linux
