Action Rehab is seeking a home-based vocational rehabilitation counselor in the North Phoenix area. You will be managing a caseload of people participating in a retraining program. You must be able to develop retraining plans and provide counseling services as needed.
An office will be provided, but most of the work can be done from your own home office. You must have excellent writing, communication, and reporting abilities.
Other Requirements (from job listing):
- Require Master’s degree in rehabilitation or related field.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
- CRC certification is preferred.
- Microsoft Office software proficiency is required.
- Must be able to counsel a diverse population of disabled clientele to provide services that include job placement, case management, labor market research, and retraining plan development.
- Must be able to work independently and professionally with insurance companies, attorneys, claims representatives, medical personnel, and employers.
- Work as an independent contractor, paid on a billable hour basis.
- A North Phoenix office is provided to meet with clients, but prefer someone with the capability to telecommute from home. Requires Internet connection and printer.
