Amedisys is seeking work-at-home on-call coordinators in the Amherst, NY area. You must be a currently licensed RN in the State of New York or live in a state that recognizes the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). You will be providing after-hours and weekend on-call nursing service, as well as responding to telephone requests for assistance.
Further Requirements (from the employment listing)
- Three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse. One of those years must consist of full-time experience in providing direct patient care in the home health setting. One year supervisory/management preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Able to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age specific needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Federal/State rules and regulations, JCAHO standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrates strong fiscal planning and management skills.
- Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer
