Healthcare Scouts, Inc. is seeking a home-based workers compensation nurse case manager in the Knoxville, Tennessee area for a well known insurance provider. In this role, you will be performing both phone and field work, and you will be allowed to work from your own home office.
As a nurse case manager, you will be handling approximtely 20 to 25 cases at a time, sometimes meeting injured workers at doctors appointments to advocate. You will spend the majority of your time on the phone, communicating with claims adjusters.
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):
- RN License
- MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Passion for the case manager profession and healthcare industry
The ideal candidate will have three or more years of workers comp or disability case management experience and two to three years of clinical nursing experience.
