Cigna is hiring work at home provider data senior reps in the U.S. These home-based positions are full-time and available throughout the U.S.

“This position will provide support to the network operations staff as well as our provider community to ensure accurate payment of claims, ensure updated policies are implemented correctly, and provider education occurs timely. In addition, this position will support internal projects and departmental goals as set by the network operations leadership team.”
Requirements (from work-at-home job listing):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- Detail oriented, with proven time management and organization skills (including the ability to engage in multiple tasks and meet deadlines/standards).
- 1+ years working experience within a managed care environment. Claims processing experience, provider support or customer service
- Experience working within Cigna or Cigna Medicare preferred
- Act with a sense of urgency to research questions or issues brought by the team, and identify the right parties or resources to resolve the issues.
- Ability to work independently and in conjunction with co-workers of all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities (from listing):
- Performs analytical review of claims system to ensure payment accuracy related to CMS updates as well as contractual updates
- Researches and resolves provider issues – call trackers, facility claim issues, grievance complaints, etc.
- Manages and coordinates calls with providers for education and review of open claims issues
- May perform provider data change requests for contract errors
- Contacts assigned providers and groups to educate and support if complaint is received related to claims/system issues
- Develops educational material as well as reporting for team updates as required for large systemic issues identified
- Support in key initiatives aligned with team goals
- Other related duties as assigned.
