SMARTHINKING is hiring work-at-home online surgical nursing tutors. These are part-time positions. You will be tutoring medical-surgical nursing to BSN, RN and LPN level students, advising faculty members with materials, and helping with the training and mentoring of new online tutors. Hours are 10 to 19 per week.
You must be available for two hours on Saturdays. You must also have access to a computer, email and Internet service (high-speed preferred). You must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a teaching certificate and/or an advanced degree in nursing, health science, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or higher
- Significant clinical experience
- College level teaching/tutoring experience in medical-surgical nursing
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to troubleshoot problems in an online environment
- Strong typing and computer skills
