Humana is hiring home-based non-clinical specialists in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and the Dakotas. You must have your high school diploma or its equivalent. You do not need to be an RN or have medical experience for these positions.
As a non-clinical specialist, you will be making outbound phone calls to members and/or providers to verify information, documenting calls and information received, and creating and sending out written correspondence.
You must be Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) proficient, have familiarity with medical terminology and/or ICD-9 codes, have superior communication abilities (verbal and written), and possess a working knowledge of computers or the ability to learn quickly.
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus, but not a requirement.
